The wild goose is an ancient Celtic symbol for the Holy Spirit. The Promise Community adopted the symbol as a reminder of God’s promise to fill every crack and crevice of our neighborhood, and our lives, with God’s presence and God’s love.

The best way to experience Church of the Promise is to come and see how we worship Jesus by living on mission together, loving our neighbors Intentionlly, and serving our neighborhood through creative expressions of social enterprise. For us, “church” is not something we do on Sunday, it is the way we live in community and pursue God’s promises together every day.
Promise Housing Plus
Promise Housing Plus is a non-profit construction company with a mission to help people overcome traditional barriers to purchasing a home while providing construction-related vocational training and employment opportunities. Our vision is to help build a community where people have access to dignified housing and opportunities to learn marketable job skills.
The Table
The Table is a non–profit community café that serves incredible food and operates under a pay–what–you–can model. We value a place where everyone has a seat at the table. Our mission is to provide a restaurant that serves locally grown food, with amazing taste, at an affordable price, where everyone can enjoy the flavor of community.
Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ–centered community, where people find God’s healing and strength to overcome hurts, habits, and hang–ups. At CR we apply biblical principles of recovery to all of life’s struggles and difficulties, not just alcohol or substance abuse. We are a community of friends, walking the road of recovery, sharing our life experiences, hopes, and fears.
